Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, FYR of Macedonia

The Ss.Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje is the first Macedonian state University (henceforward UKIM) in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, formed in 1949. UKIM is a higher education institution comprised of 23 Faculties, 10 Scientific institutes and 6 accompanying members. It offers a wide rang of academic degree courses leading to Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degree in all fields.

UKIM has: 36 000 students from Republic of Macedonia, as well as 700 foreign students; more than 2300 teaching-scientific and associate Academic staff, and over 300 scientific and auxilliary-scientific staff at the institutes; more than 95 000 graduated high-professional staff, 90 000 with obtained Bachelor, 5000 master’s degree, and over than 2000 doctors of science in all teaching and scientific fields.
