I would like to express my grateful thanks to the JoinEU-SEE organizing committee for this excellent scholarship scheme which firstly helped in the generation of interesting results in the field of syntheses, characterization and properties of composite materials, and secondly served as a bridge for the establishment of sustainable cooperation between the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Masaryk University and the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Tirana. Furthermore, the interesting results generated during this scholarship period awaked the interest for near future bilateral exchange and cooperation with the Laboratory of Metallomics and Nanotechnologies, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Mendel University in Brno. After the presentation of a part of results there, I obtained a research invitation for collaboration with this excellent research center during the period 03.11.2014 – 23.12.2014. Beside all described above, this scholarship scheme is an excellent intermediator for the advertisement of the cultural and traditional peculiarities of the host countries, contributing in this way to the sharing of common values between EU and Western Balkan Countries, as a step forward into a United Europe.
