The Erasmus Mundus JoinEUsee > PENTA partnership consists of 20 partner universities and nine associates. Of the 20 partner universities, 10 are from EU countries and 10 from the Western Balkan partner countries. All consortium members have long term experience in the area of international cooperation and the implementation of mobility programmes.
The 20 partner universities form the core of the project partnership. Together they implement the Erasmus Mundus JoinEUsee > PENTA mobility scheme. This involves defining rules and procedures for the call for applications and the selection of candidates for the available scholarships. The partner universities are responsible for promoting the project and the call for applications, organizing and assisting in the implementation of the individual mobility flows and faciliating the recognition processes when applicable. All the partner universities are comprehensive universities, offering a wide range of study fields.

Associate partners complement the partnership thematically and geographically. They actively participate in the implementation of the project by supporting quality assurance measures, disseminating information on the project, consulting applicants, and driving reforms based on experience made by the partnership.
