Missing PhD degree
Applicants for a post-doctorate mobility are asked in the online application to upload a doctorate degree certificate (or equivalent). However, students in the last year of their doctoral studies will not have received their doctorate degree certificate by the time the call for applications closes. These students may exceptionally apply for a post-doctorate scholarship.
Instead of uploading a doctorate degree certificate in the online application, please upload a self-declaration indicating:
1. that you are a student in the last year of your doctoral studies
2. the activities (please list them) you still need to complete in order to receive the doctorate degree certificate
3. the expected date of your graduation
If you are selected for a scholarship, you need to provide to your host university your doctoral degree certificate as soon as you have received it and at any rate before the start of mobility. The host university may also specify a deadline by which you need to provide the missing degree certificate. Failure to comply with this requirement will lead to the cancellation of your grant. Please note that the latest possible mobility starting date for post-doctoral candidates is December 31st, 2015.
